There are so many different health modalities around now, as an example I’ll list some. Many of you would have gone to see one or more of these practitioners – a Naturopath, Iridologist, EFT Practitioner, Reflexologist, Homeopath, Kinesiologist, NLP Therapist, Alexander Technique teacher, Feldenkrais Practitioner, Acupuncturist, Psychic Reader, Reiki Healer, Biofeedback Practitioner, Chiropractor, Osteopath, Psychologist, Astrologist, Massage Therapist and so many more.

What about diet? what’s the best diet? Pritikin, Atkins, paleo, Weston Price, lacto-ovo-vegetarian, vegan, macrobiotic, raw food, fruitarian, warrior, natural food, blood type diet, weight loss diet, grapefruit diet, industrialised?

Then there are health retreats, allergy testing, colonics, fasting, health spas, meditation, affirmations, vision boards, re-birthing, I-Ching, tarot cards, yoga, kahuna, shamanic, sit under a pyramid, subliminal tapes, music therapy, palm reading, get an aura reading, crystals, go to India and find a guru.

And I haven’t even addressed supplements – vitamins, minerals, enzymes, amino acids, protein drinks. There are so many companies producing the ‘best’ supplements for you.

We have social media now and when we have a symptom show up we can Google it and find out what it could be. Intuitively we know that somewhere there is an ultimate answer. But because we don’t have the experience to resolve the issue most of the time, we may have to sift through or experience some of the above in our journey for good health. Where do we start?

Well, what appeals to you most? A good diet, which one? Seeing a naturopath and taking bottles and bottles of supplements? Having some acupuncture and putting your meridians in balance?

This is Where Kinesiology comes in…

Many years ago when I was already practicing as a homeopath I came across Kinesiology. I was going through a lot of stress at the time and it was affecting my health. The Kinesiologist I saw, muscle tested and ‘asked’ what I needed to re-balance my body. The treatment worked and I regained my health. So this was my personal experience with this amazing method for accessing the body’s wisdom, known as Kinesiology.

For the past twenty years I have been using Kinesiology muscle testing on my family, friends and clients with great results. And what is exciting is that we can pinpoint specific modes of treatment such as some of the ones named above, nutritional recommendations and other holistic protocols which strengthen, cleanse or rebalance the energy system of the body.

People set up lifetime patterns that fuse the traumatic emotions of the past that influence our activities in present time. Kinesiology locates the experience that created that emotional or mental block and defuses the emotions that create the limitations that prevent you from doing or having what you want.

In Kinesiology, our philosophy is that each individual is the only valid source for the identification and solution of their problems.

When people give you bad news, they usually ask you to sit down first. This is because stress produces that “weak in the knees” feeling. Stress affects the entire body and limits your choices. I use a gentle method of precision muscle testing to identify and release the blockage that is creating the stress that is limiting your potential.

For example, if negative stress occurs when we’re learning a new activity (reading, writing, driving a car, playing a new sport), that stress becomes fused into and becomes an integral part of that activity. It then interferes with our ability to do that function well. And whenever we repeat that activity or activities of a similar nature any time in the future, the same negative stress is triggered and our performance suffers.

If we base our choices on our reactions to unpleasant experiences from the past, we can get locked into self-limitation, doubt, denial and self-judgment.

Stuck in patterns that keep us from experiencing the success we want, we no longer believe we have any choice concerning our future.

‘The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest patients in the care of the human frame, in diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease”.

– Thomas Edison

My use of Kinesiology techniques, combined with Homeopathy, helps you regain your power of choice.

People who are exhibiting the symptoms of dyslexia (have difficulty with reading, writing and comprehension), are displaying the observable symptoms of its underlying cause – STRESS. Be it mental, emotional, physical or spiritual.

Our self-image is constructed over time by messages (either spoken or inferred) that we’ve received from our parents, teachers, peers, our environment and the experiences we have within our environment. Stress perpetuates the negative self-image of “I can’t do that” or, even worse; “I’m stupid”. The self-image is not built on what is true, but on what we believe to be true. From that point on, all our thoughts and actions remain consistent with those lies, and we negate any input we get that doesn’t reinforce our self-images and accept only the messages that reinforce the negative image we have built up about our self.

Keep in mind this entire destructive cycle begins when a person is engaged in an activity, such as reading, and stress comes on line. “On line” means that subconsciously, the negative emotion and the activity have become fused. Then, whenever a person repeats that same (or a similar) activity in the future, fuel is added to this already existing fire and reactivates the same negative emotions. Even though WE have forgotten the original stressor, the BODY remembers and we say “I CAN’T”.

The stress caused when a trauma “fuses” the emotion with the activity is easily defused with specific stress reduction techniques. Defusing the cause can change the self-image. Changing the self-image can change the performance, changing the self-talk to “I CAN”.

I, as a Kinesiologist, respect YOU as the only source for what you need to know to get better. We can use muscle testing/monitoring to discover your own Solutions. They are as unique and as individual as you are. Remember, resolving emotional blocks created in the past really does change your behaviour in the present. And since your feelings in the present affect your future, you are changing your future as well1
